After being diagnosed with ALS in 2004, Avi Kremer founded Prize4Life to pursue a cure for this orphan disease. Despite its progression, Avi continues to lead Prize4Life's efforts on three continents and remains committed to finding a cure. There are around 500,000 people afflicted with ALS throughout the world. These portraits tell a few of their stories.

With each dollar toward our $250,000 goal, a pixel in one of the portraits lights up. Help us light the way to a cure for ALS.

About Dollar4Life: Last year, Dollar4Life raised over $85,000 to support research for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. This year, Dollar4Life has set a goal to raise $250,000 and needs you to help spread the word about our campaign.
